He only returned 4 punts in college, but his average was 21.0 yards, so... maybe this could be a "value added" aspect of his game.

So the first time Atwell muffs a punt (and he will considering he has only fielding 4 punts in his college career), how long will his time be in McVay’s doghouse and he throws Cooper Kupp back there again?

If Atwell muffs a punt, it depends on the timing whether or not he'll be in the dog house. If he's been a top punt returner for a few games I think McVay will be a little more patient. If it happens in the first game, maybe not.
