I know it will be awhile longer til we draft in round one.

i'm not sure we'll ever have a first rounder again with this crew jack...

Opens up that Thursday night in April for Rams fans. No reason to sit eagerly in front of the TV or constantly refreshing Twitter like fans of other teams.

Just think about those fool fans for 31 teams eagerly waiting for their teams' draft slot. Rams fans have the freedom to not care at all. Or at least watch the first night of the NFL draft partly to see who the Rams will trade for in a few years.

Not a horrible approach in that you don’t trade for the inevitable draft picks that flame out early.

Rich Eisen: "We have Mel Kiper here to talk NFL draft. Let's start with the 32nd pick... Mel, what do you think the Rams will do?

Mel Kiper: "The who? Is that a new team?"

I remember when draft day was the highlight of our year. I'm liking things they way they are now much better.
