JG's play has been on full display for the last couple of years and the regression has been fairly obvious. I can't help but think Sean grew tired of Goff's film study, his lack of athleticism, perhaps poor practice habits, lack of leadership, lack of "grit."

I realize Goff straightened out a dislocated thumb, but I can never overlook him sliding short of a first down, or his slow-footed play. There is much more to this situation and I'm conflicted. I wanted to see JG be our franchise QB with multiple SB wins, but the more I watched I had to the come to the realization it wasn't going to happen.

Stafford can "fling it" and I'm ready to see his play in 2021. Wonder of Big Whit decides to come back as he and JG were good friends?

I'd love to know the real story behind how McVay basically ended up disgusted with Goff but we probably never will...

goff's been a pretty classy young man throughout his nfl career, hard to believe that he would air out dirty laundry in the next few weeks, will probably take the high road and thank mcvay and the rams for the opportunity, etc... then again maybe he'll pull a gurley, tweet that he got fired on his day off, and publicly set the timer for any money the rams still owe him!

I can't wait to see this magic pocket that Stafford will create around himself giving him time for the deep pass plays to develop that everyone wants to see. LMAO

He's a quicker reader, quicker feet and stronger arm. Likes to throw deep, runs and doesn't slide behind the line of gain while fumbling.

Agreed they still have to fix the interior line.

So what happens if they give Stafford the same quality O-Line as Goff? How soon before most will want Stafford dumped?
