"Going Roggin" also airs Saturday midday, and I watched the interview.

Mayor Butts said the timeline got pushed back to 2019 because the 2018 opening was based on breaking ground last month, but they're having to hold off until the league makes their LA decision. Now that's they've had to wait this long, they can't break ground until after the El Niño season to pass. I think he said ground would be broken in June, now (with approval).
