of the 60 projected offensive line starters that will take field during the postseason....
- 11 were taken in the 1st round, 8 in the 2nd, 9 in the 3rd and a whopping 32 in round 4 or later, including 10 that went undrafted.
- pro football focus classifies 0 as elite, 11 as pro bowl caliber, 7 as above average, 8 as average and 34 as below average or worse, including 25, i.e. almost half, as worse than backup.

here's a look at the 12 projected starting centers, including their pff ranking, pff grade, number of starts this season, nfl experience headed into the season, and draft position... red indicates player was obtained from another team.
9 of the 12 (75%) projected starting centers have been deemed below average or worse by pff. rams reference: pff ranked barnes 30th among centers.

here's a look at the 24 projected starting tackles, of which pff has deemed more than half (63%) worse than backup. rams reference: havenstein was ranked 32nd by pff (good for an 8th ranking on the following list), while grob was ranked 77th.

and here's a look at the 24 projected starting guards... this list is interesting because it is populated by a much greater number of higher classified, i.e higher graded, players than the centers and tackles lists... this list includes 7 pro bowl caliber players and almost half of those listed were deemed above average or better by pff... rams reference: pff ranked reynolds the 19th best guard for the 2015 season.

finally, here's a look at where postseason teams ranked in points scored, qb rating, pass yards per attempt, rush yards per attempt, pff pass blocking and run blocking. as is typically the case, points scored and allowed correlates well with qb rating and pass yards per attempt, whereas rush yards per attempt doesn't.
