Look at what the Giants have done thus far:

Under 13 points per game scored.
172 total rushing yards in 3 games.
On hand-offs to RBs: 40 attempts, 72 yards, 1.8 yards per carry.
Daniel Jones: 69.2 passer rating
Allowed 9 sacks
6 turnovers

If we can't shut them down, then I'll worry.

My hope with the defense is that they improve as the season goes forward.

Im not sure why anyone thought it would be better, we lost our best inside LB and best rush linebacker and have a new defense (somewhat). We were good last year in certain games and horrible in others, hence Wade was fired. The draft has paid some dividends already, but the guys around AD and Jalen must play better for this defense to be all it can be. Hopefully experience in the defense will be the elixir.

Yet our best ILB and OLB are doing nothing elsewhere. It is going to take time to see how the sum of the parts become really solid as a unit.

Add TG and Cooks who are average at best - I think we are at least ok.

We are playing the Giants, we should blow them out. That is because they are in rebuild mode.

Last year's team mighta gave up 50. So maybe they are a little better.

Yeah that's the trouble with a message board and sarcasm. If you don't have a designated sarcasm emot, then some might take you seriously.

Anyways, I think you are correct. Now if they can just play solid defense for 60 mins they'd be downright scary.
