Announcer Bias

Is it just me or were the announcers mocking the Rams during this game (like when Goff was audibling)? I know I am really sensitive to this, so maybe it's just me. But it seemed like they were mocking the Rams. And when the did a cutaway to the Falcons game, the reporter prefaced the highlight with something like "Rams fans are going to feel bad about this, but..." And then they showed a short run by Gurley for a TD. Last time I checked, ATL is winless and Gurley is pretty much the same as he was last year. Whatever.

Tough loss, but the Goff pick and the 3rd and 22 were killers.

Onward. I really enjoyed the game today, and I am so happy watching this team, even in a loss. They are fun to watch, and a very young team at that.

Chris Meyers (the play-by-play guy in this game) is a Rams fan.

Just remember they get paid to run their mouths.

My recollection was that they were remarking how nice it was to hear the audibles with no crowd and that the "water" audible was a cue that it was going to a run. They also remarked that Goff may switch that up so Buffalo didn't key on it.

It's just me. I hear anti-Rams stuff even when it doesn't exist. I really do.

All I really noticed was that the Rams and Bills were the only undefeated matchup of the early slate and we got Brock freakin' Huard and the C team calling our game.

Can't really comment on an announcer bias (unless it's Joe _uck) but there is DEFINITELY a sports media bias. Most of the media still thinks we're Fishers 7-8 Rams. We had a winning record last year and according to the media that made us a bottom of the barrel team this year. FFS Schrager, who usually has our backs, this morning started his analysis on Sundays game by saying he knows people want him to talk about the pass interference call that didn't exist and cost the Rams the game, but he didn't want to talk about that. He only wanted to talk about Allen. Questionable PI from the Rams on the Saints and it's all we hear for a year. Questionable PI during the Cowboys game and it's all we hear for 2 weeks. Questionable PI call on the Rams and not a god damn peep! I honestly have to wonder if any of this changes when the NFL moves into their new HQ in LA w/ a gorgeous view of the Kroenkedome?

Anyway, like the team, the 24 hrs are up. The grieving is over. I feel bad for who's up next.
