Is completely MIA. Dude can't get to the QB, does not play under control and wiffs on tackles. I hope Terrell Lewis gets that knee cleaned up and can show something. While I'm at and in stage one of the grieving process, Kiser and Young look a bit soft at the line of scrimmage.

Third and 22............WTF was the defense doing? So far, Staley's defense isn't an upgrade over Wade's in the eye test.

Agreed with all you say. IMO, "Samson" Ebukam has been playing more like "Samantha" Ebukam!!! The first half D reminded me of our Tampa game from last year. We just couldn't stop them from scoring TD's on every drive. Brutal! Saw more bad tacking again today. That HAS to be fixed!!!

Tough loss but it left me feeling good about our ability to come back from behind.

I was hoping we wouldn't have games similar to a few we had last year. I guess 35 is better than 45 points. But yeah, the defense was disappointing today. We'll have to wait and see how they rebound from this one. I don't think anyone expected a top tier defense. With our offense we just don't want them to be as bad as they were today. Hopefully we won't see too many of these games.

My biggest gripe with the D at this point is just the sheer amount of whiffed tackles. They're are so many single outstretched arms I find myself wondering if they are actually going for a tackle for if they're just REALLY desperate for high 5's!

The lack of pressure on the QB by the defense is definitely a concern. AD is held in some fashion on almost every passing down. Not to mention the double teams he faces. Someone needs to get to the QB.

It's obvioys the refs won't call an offense for holding Donald on every passing down. That would be too much work. But at the Very Least it should be once a game.

Look, anyone paying attention KNEW our edge rush was going to be eithe a work in progress or simply inadequate. Lewis, healthy, is the Key. Frankly I would rotate Lewis, Polite, and Obo opposite Floyd and the dude from Denver. I don’t think we get far in the playoffs bc of our lack of pass rush off the edge. This off season has to be focused on fixing that issue with young, rookie badass talent. We can’t afford vet edge players with any resume.

I don't know how many times they sent more than 4 rushers. But it sure seems like it didn't happen very often. Is that Staley's style of coaching? Or does he not trust the back end?

Ebukam, who is that? havent seen him

I said over and over on here that pass rush was going to be an issue. But but but we have Floyd, Ebukam, Obo, for gawd sakes Potite. Well we suck at it.

If only we had someone who could take advantage of AD. I hope Lewis can get on the field soon.....
