I'll be honest, I hate just about everyone on that station. I only ever listen to get relocation news, but I just don't like who they have on there, including Roggin. Maybe it's because I don't like basketball, but all I ever hear about is the clippers, and sometimes the dodgers. Last I checked the top team in LA is the Kings.

The Kings are the BEST team but certainly nowhere near the most popular.

But I agree with you about the station. Fred is as irritating as they come. If he didn't talk about relocation, I wouldn't turn him on for one minute. Even when I listen to him about relocation, I end up wishing I hadn't. He's torture.

Well it is the Clippers flagship station. They talk more about the Lakers than the Lakers flagship (am 710) talks about the Clippers.

LA sports talk stations never talk about hockey (I'm glad they don't). They mainly talk about basketball and baseball with a little football.

I'm not a fan of most of the shows on the station. I was hoping they would make some improvements. Roggin is really the only one that I listen to on a fairly regular basis, but I like the station as an alternative to the annoying Laker homer shows on am 710 and the shows on am 830 suck (Rodger Lodge is the worst).

Seriously. After next week Fred and the whole beast980 crew is going to be deleted from my bookmarks.

I like Vinny, and Chris Myers but like every sports talk station in L.A. they end up talking about Kobe and the Dodgers...

Yeah, and I get that so I expect it a little, but all I ever hear from them is about how they talk LA sports, and about how they are the home for LA sports, but they ignored a good portion of the sports in LA. I hear more about Anaheim teams than some LA teams. I've heard Roggin say that they talk about Kings all the time, but I've never heard them do that, the only times I've ever heard them mention the Kings is when they did some stupid gameshow about trying to figure out what Sutter was saying (because he mumbles) and score updates. I hear more about the Kings on Kevin and Bean during my morning drive than I do on the Beast when heading home.

As soon as everything is decided they'll be out of the rotation.
