Mayor Butts on Roggin yesterday really expressed zero concern on this issue.

Basically said the Charaiders are putting this out there.

Does anyone really believe that Kroenke would have made a mistake like this? He doesn't make a move until it's time to make the move. Not knowing whether his biggest project to date would pass FAA approval? Yeah, right.

I just take solace in the fact that the Inglewood stadium developers are working on a resolution. What's Carson exactly doing again? Oh yeah, that's right, absolutely nothing.

Yup, let's put the focus back where it belongs, and that's on Carson and it's status.

Curios, Is it the surface of the roof or it's elevation? There are Hotels west of the 405 that are taller than CoC...

Nothing ever negative is said of Carson (and believe me, there are many negatives about that site and it's financing) because the Rams and Inglewood don't have a PR machine pumping out their agenda through the media. See, while Carson focuses on press releases and hiring people on contingency contracts, Inglewood is actually prepping land for a stadium/developmental complex, is working with the FAA and other agencies and is getting all of its ducks in a row while Carson has done none of that. But they sure know how to put out out that press release.

When I read excerpts like these, I mean their is absolutely no timetable for when Carson would open.

The Carson project, which was significantly reworked earlier in the year to overhaul the stadium design and add extras such as a farmer's market, isn't as far along in the design process. The landfill remediation, overseen by the state's Department of Toxic Substances Control, can't be completed until plans for the site are final.

My understanding is it has to do with the shape and the amount of aluminum in the roof.

The FAA proposed solutions, including painting part of the structure with radar absorbing material. None of it sounds major...

Same stuff they paint on the F117. We'll have the world's 1st Stealth Stadium :)
