I believe the decision will be made for the Rams to move to LA. Not sure what's gonna happen with San Diego, but I don't believe the Raiders move to LA.

The Rams will be approved to move to LA in Jan. It makes the most sense. The owners can't delay it because there's a lot to get done after the approval.

For those people that voted that the Rams won't get approved to move to LA, give your reason why they won't get approval.

I voted that the Rams get approved.

But to play devils advocate, based on what I've heard from the other side, here's one "no Rams approval" viewpoint...

Many owners don't like Kroenke and fear he will garner too much power if he gets LA. Between them and those who don't like the idea of turning down public money from any city even STL, there will be enough votes to turn the tide against the Rams getting approved.

This assumes that Kroenke will have a hard time holding onto all 9 of his votes, that somehow if Carson gets close to 23 votes the owners will be able to push one or two of Kroenke's 9 votes over to Carson.

That's the worst case scenario for Kroenke, the question is can he prevent it from getting to that point.

Great Points Max and that's my greatest fear, it's hard to believe the owners would stymie a plan that would make them more money just because they want to control somebody from gaining more power, however, J.P. Morgan, John D. Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie wanted to make Teddy Roosevelt Vice President to ruin his political career so I hope Jerry Richardson and group have similar success.

Max, you make the biggest point on why other owners won't approve Kroenke's Inglewood project.

He's building it with ALL of his own money. That's scary to owners who might want their city to fund an new stadium or upgrade the one they are already in with public money. They might not want that precedent set. They might be thinking "Holy shit! Now we all have to build a new stadium with our own money?"

I just learned something new.

I think Stan won't get the votes needed. But I also think its a good possibility he'll still move. The threat of litigation makes owners uneasy. They voted against Georgia the first time and caved in shortly after with the veiled threat of a lawsuit. Stan has a case for collusion with the Richardson/McNair duo making recommendations from a biased point of view.

They never would have ruined Teddy's political career, just delayed it a bit. Teddy, the dynamo, was too good at it. Besides those power barons didn't realize how difficult he would make their lives.

Although I presented the case against Kroenke, clearly he knows exactly what he's up against and isn't just sitting back. Kroenke is unrelenting in his pursuit of LA. I still believe that somehow, someway he makes it happen.
