Week 16 Rams@Hawks

Finally we are not ending our season at the C-Link...and another change that would be awesome is if Rams win at the C-Link this year.

Game Time: Sunday, December 27th at 4:25pm EST on Fox

Rams 6-8
Hawks 9-5

TV Map: Fox is only showing the late game in the local markets – the rest of the country gets GB@AZ.

Rams are 13.5 underdogs heading into Seattle.

Commentators: Chris Myers, Ronde Barber

Tough game, but Rams always play the Hawks hard and regardless of the line and what everyone thinks - there is a possiblilty we can win this one. Would be so sweet for what turned into a difficult season.

Hawks have secured the play-offs, but need this win to help keep the 5th seed. The 5th seed winner will go play @Skins and the 6th seed will go play at @GB. Looks like it's between them and the Vikes, so they have motivation for this game.

Here's a link to the NFL Playoff Machine. Rams are out, but it's still fun.

Go Rams!

Not a lot of chatter about our game on the Hawk forum, they are extremely confident and focused on the play-offs.

A confluence of events for this game...
- Yet another shot at winning 3 in-a-row.
- This game is must win if we are to go 8-8 and avoid another losing season.
- This game is must win to POTENTIALLY reach a high water mark of a 4 game winning streak to end the season.
- Is Boras our OC of the future? A win here would be a nice line item on his resume.

I'd like Fisher gone at the end of the season. Doubtful that will happen; therefore, 8-8 would make me feel much better going into another year of Fisher.

I don't expect much from this game as the Seahawks usually blast the Rams at home. 2012 was the best attempt losing 20-13, but 2013 was 27-9 and last year was 20-6. I expect the same in this game with QB Case Keenum being exposed, but it would be nice to see the Rams continue to grow offensively under new OC Rob Boras.

This will be a true test the Seahawks are on a roll and their offense is clicking. Keenum cannot try to force the ball and IMO the team that creates the most turnovers and makes a key special team play wins the game. This is a catch 22 game for the Rams because if Keenum plays well you could see Fisher keeping him next year, so I'm not to sure how this will go, but if history is any indication 23-10 Seattle.

I never root for the Rams to lose. EVER
But if they were going to lose to Seattle, I hope its a total ass-whoopin that makes Fisher back on the hot seat
I'd love 8-8
Looks like 7-9
6-10 they cant bring Fisher back

Typically we play them tough in the first half. But the offense just can't muster anything the defense eventually wears down. I expect them to do what everyone else has done, load the box to stop Gurley. Teams have basically dared Foles to throw on 1st and second down. He usually didn't fare well which resulted in 3rd and long, in turn resulting in many kicks. And not many PAT's with those kicks.

Keenum played well last time out. The hags will probably play him the same way other teams did Foles. They'll commit so much to stopping Gurley that opportunities will be there for Keenum. Can he take advantage?
