Nuts to think Cook will come here. The guy is not a first round talent. I would be shocked beyond belief if his name is called at all day one.

I think I would have an aneurysm if they draft Cook while Wentz is still on the board.

I don't see them going quarterback early. None of those guys is going to come in and be a viable NFL starter from day one. They will need time. I don't believe Fisher has time. He needs to win in 2016. Another 6 or 7 win season would bring a lot of heat. I'm sure they're looking at all avenues to address the quarterback issue and the draft is lower on the priority totem pole. If there is a defensive stud there at 15 I wouldn't be surprised if they took him. If this team is going to win its going to be on the backs of the defense and Gurley. Makes sense to make a strong defense even stronger.

I think they need to give Mannion a shot otherwise they wasted a 3rd round draft choice

There is nobody they can really bring in via free agency thats worth a damn.The only real play is to trade for Rivers. Drafting a high profile rookie QB gives Snisher plausible deniability and buys them another year. Bringing in a vet and failing will be an instant death sentence.
