Someone tweeted that Vinny said last night that he believes it will be Rams/Chargers in LA.
I didn't hear it, but thought one of you guys might know how to get the clip.

I didn't see it, but Vinny has been pretty consistent in his coverage (even recently despite all the pro-Carson PR that's been out there).
Vinny still sees this thing deadlocked, and keeps going back toward a Rams-Chargers in LA compromise as being the most likely outcome.
I don't take his word as gospel or anything, but Vinny has proven to me to have some damn solid sources in his reporting over the past year or so. I know it's nowhere near a guarantee, but I do put some stock into his opinion since he's done a good job of covering all angles on this story. We'll see if he's correct soon enough.

I'm not a fan of Vinny, but I'll give him credit, he was really on top of that bs extra 100 million not coming from the NFL. 48 hours before Goodell's letter became public.

I didn't hear that, but it's not surprising at all. I don't recall Vinny ever saying that he thought it would be Chargers and Raiders in Carson. There hasn't been any talk by anyone in the media about the Raiders being in LA next year. There's too many issues with the Raiders in LA (Davis' lack of money being a main issue).

Fred and Vinny have said it's going to be the Chargers/Rams for a while now.
Sam Farmer has said Rams only.
I don't trust the media but I trust the LA media more then guys like Daniel Kaplan and Jason Cole.
Although Larry King is not covering this story, he has said Rams and mayhe the Chargers.

Vinny is getting a lot of heat on twitter from the STL and Raider to LA crowd. They are calling him all kinds of names.
So it must be pretty good for us. LOL

Vinny is really good. I think at first his only source was Mark Fabiani so most of his stuff was from the Chargers point of view. But he seems to have a lot of sources now and he's pretty good at cutting through the BS.
BTW, he's a friend of the site (FOS), did a Q&A with us back in July:

Kaplan is a huge STL homer.
Cole is all about getting free beer when he's in STL. He tells them whatever they want to hear, and they pay for his beer. He admitted as much last Thursday night.

It truly does appear to be a deadlock. So then what. Both teams go?
I don't know what our owner wants but I have a very strong feeling that he has no intention of staying in StLoony. Meaning he and his already invested $100MM in LA is going to the wall to move.
Spanos really only want's to block ESK from doing something the NFL has been pining for for decades. The owners won't turn their backs on that just to allow Spanos to own all of SoCal for himself playing in SD.
Thus he has to go into LA himself likely against his gut feelings. OH but he can't afford it so McDickardson comes up with the grand Carson scheme fresh off it's last failed attempt.
I'd love to see 2 stadiums built. Let Spanos go for it in Carson if he is so certain. Let ESK build in Inglewood. Keep the Raiders where they belong.
The NFL has in no uncertain terms stated that that is not going to happen though. Why? What is the difference having to stadiums? More cost for the owners? No. PSL corporate splits and naming rights issues? Not any different than 2 teams in one stadium. Right?
Let Spanos share LA in his own place. Good luck with that Clippe,,,, er, Chargers. LA is a bad deal for that fool and he just doesn't see it. Unless he get's LA alone.

Ya bc in the begging he was quoting Mark Fabiani a lot . He soon realized the guy can't be trusted.
