You guys should check out the Chargers official Twitter and FB accounts. They're basically thanking fans for today and saying bye. It's sad and depressing. Idk how the Chargers could stay in SD. It's very weird.

The crazy thing is that the Chargers fans although very pissed are accepting it. It's awkward.

The time is ripe for the Chargers to move. If they're going to do it do it after this season. I don't think the PR backlash would as bad.

I also think the fact that they're moving 120 miles north is kinda ok with SD folk. They could still follow them and most likely they'll televise Chargers games in SD and even do training camps once in a while is SD.

I say again, the win/win/win is the Rams/Chargers in Inglewood. The Raiders in a new stadium in Oakland.

That is all possible. Carson and St Louis riverfront has too many problems. AND, it gives the Chargers a way to stay in San Diego.

I don't agree with you comment about a lot of Charger fans still following the team after they move to LA. I've heard very few fans say that. Things could change in a few years, after it's not so painful, but I don't think many will change their mind and continue to support the team.

All the LA Rams fans that followed the team when they moved to St. Louis shows you that fandom is real. It's an addiction. Look at the Raider fans here and all the Rams fans that showed up in SD last year. They might be pissed now but they'll get over it. Just like how we did. It's sad, SD waited way to long to get their act together.

Dean and Kroenke, go to dinner, drink some beer eat some pizza and work it out. LA is big enough for both teams. Make the right move and cash in.

Some people on Twitter were saying that the stadium PA announcer was saying bye and paying homage to the city throughout the game.

Tonight was Malcom Floyd's final game in San Diego, he's retiring after the season.

The thing that makes the move so hard for a lot of Charger fans is the team moving to the rival city of SD. It wouldn't be as bad if they were moving to Arizona or Nevada.

The LA area has six pro teams (Dodgers, Angels, Lakers, Clippers, Kings, Ducks). SD only has the Chargers and Padres and the Chargers were clear the favorite for most people in SD. They took pride in the Chargers being their team for the past 54 years. They're not going easily, if at all change their mind, and want to cheer for an LA team.

I've never stopped following/liking the Rams, but I still haven't got over them moving and I've never been a fan of most of the people in STL. The true identity and history of the Rams needs to be restored and returned to LA.

When you have an owner/team attorney who have been constantly negative and inflammatory to the city, a negative local media, and a national media that spins said owner/attorney's BS all year, yeah the scene will become one of goodbye.

Let's compare and contrast that to the rah rah cheerleaders in the St. Louis media like idiot Bernie Miklasz who spin the idea that St. Louis can do no wrong.

San Diego doesn't deserve to lose their team. 65k fans a game avg this year for a 4-10 team and with an owner ho wants to move. I know there are a lot of visiting fans, but that only makes it a good NFL market. Of the three teams, it's only the Rams that play in a dark, depressing, and empty stadium.

St. Louis is a terrible NFL market, and no one will convince me otherwise.
