The Rams got what they desperately needed...a feel good win.
Yes, the Cardinals are bad.
Yes, the Rams were expected to win.
Still feels good.
One game at a time...keep moving forward.

Agreed. Feels like it doesn't really mean much at this point and I wouldn't say that the problems that previously existed for the Rams have been solved, but 7-5 is still 7-5. Considering just how disastrous the year has seemed to have gone, this team will possibly still get to 10 wins.
Not exactly where we want to be but it isn't anything like the Redskins or Dolphins or Bengals, etc.

Yes, the Cardinals are not very good. But they've been competitive most times. They lost to the 49ers by 3. The Ravens by 6. Its the NFL. Sometimes teams can play well enough to be competitive.
I've been critical enough of the offense this year. Its only fair to compliment them for playing well. I don't care who you're playing, passing for 424 yards and 549 total yards is pretty darn good. And the defense holding them well below their season averages in yards and points is pretty good too.
I've been saying I just want to see improvement in the offense. So I can't complain. I just want to see more of it over the final 4 games. I still think they'll miss out on the playoffs but if they can get the offense going, it will give us all a much better feeling about things going into next year.
If by chance we do want to hold out hope for the playoffs, next week is the most important game of the season. Beat the Seahawks and all of a sudden things aren't looking so dire. 8-5 guarantees nothing, but it would make things more interesting.

Great win and on a weekend when Cincinnati, Miami and Washington win, it’s ludicrous to down play any of the positives from this game.

And notice that all the negative Nancys aren’t here after this win. Because the areas they are all convinced are doomed, showed up quite well today.
The season is far from over.

goff:
- 11 of 11 on 3rd down passing attempts for 182 yards, 1 td, and a 149.1 qb rating.
- 6 of 6 on passes that traveled 15+ yards in the air.
- 424 passing yards, third most of his career.
yep, pretty comforting.
