I'm sure the interview will be posted so that everyone can hear and interpret for themselves, but essentially his conclusion is the NFL is trying to force Stan to work things out with Spanos on Spanos' terms.

That makes perfect sense actually. The guys that want to please Spanos are good, and they forego a vote avoiding any hard feelings or potential lawsuits. The good old billionaire boys club gets its cake and eats it to.

I can tell you unequivocally that the NFL does not want the Radas back in LA.

If tomorrow Spanos and Stan announced that they had worked things out and would be sharing the Englewood stadium, the Oakland Raiders would have a bright shiny new stadium in Oakland.

That IS the way the NFL wants things to shake out IMHO.

Meaning....SK comes up and offers Spanos a cut of development, ancillary stadium revenue and input on stadium design (although Ing is ready to go at this stage) or SK working with Carson (which I positively do not see)?

Basically he's saying Kroenke has to concede more to Spanos to make Inglewood happen, if that's the case, it's not his new idea. It's what many are saying.

Well it is kinda, its a new angle for him and unless I missed it, I haven't heard anyone claiming the committee/NFL was making moves to force Stan to acquiesce But I could have missed it.

In fairness to Fred, he was admitting that he was looking at the situation from Stan's view...not Dean Spanos.

If that is correct, its further evidence of the NFL actually showing their hand.

Or perhaps that's been the plan all along. Chargers/Rams in Inglewood.

Raiders get 300 mill from NFL instead of 200.

Yes yes that's me again the conspiracy theorist.

How does Spanos just walk away and leave a deal he has with Davis high and dry? Maybe Davis gets angry about being used by Spanos and decides he wants to partner with SK. Maybe SK likes that deal too and then Spanos gets to eat shit. I wish.

Or maybe the league doesn't approve the Raiders and Dean has no other choice.

No way ESK give Spanos-child all of that control. That spoiled child is a disaster in waiting. A guy of ESK's skill and acumen would never put himself in a position. I say ESK puts his foot down and tells the old boy network to go F themselves and goes rogue. Screw this.

Since when was the NFL in the business of GIVING out money to cities in order to make LESS money?

Think about how crazy this all sounds from a business standpoint.

Anyone in the media who actually believes this crap is an idiot and isn't worth listening to.

To think that the NFL would give money to STL to keep a guy, who can buy and sell almost all of them, from moving to LA and making them all even more money is totally absurd.

So the rich guys put money in a bad investment because they want to keep another another rich guy from making them even richer.

This is really the silly season for sure.

You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead - your next stop, the NFL Zone!

Or did that sign say LA?

As i understand it, this $100 million quite possibly not real and also, if real, seems like it will be added to the G4, which means it's still the owners's share...
