They would have a hundred dogs on that flat top at a time, and would be rolling 'em back and forth as they burnt the sh#t out of them. I didn't realize it at the time, but those were the best damn stadium dogs I've ever had. I can't tell you how many times I think back to those ladies working those huge griddles.Back in the day, Dodger stadium had them as well, but I haven't been there in probably a decade, so not sure anymore.I did do some work in downtown Cleveland circa 2006-7, and attended a half-dozen baseball games at their new swank downtown stadium. I walked around the whole stadium twice and found a little stand where they cooked NY-imported dogs on approx a 6' black top griddle. They weren't nearly as big as those Coliseum dogs, but they certainly were good.As we get close to our homecoming, I'm finding myself drifting off in the strangest of memories from those old LA Rams days. I can taste the dogs now. Let's just hope ESK puts an old fashion grill into CoC, just for us old timers New HC. New L.A. Stadium. Future is Bright. Reply 1 / 1
