Myers and Wes

Chris Myers did the Rams game last week on Fox. He's also got a regular show on 980 in the afternoon, Myers and Wes.

He did a call in from St. Louis last Friday to his show where he, several times alluded to the fact that the Rams would be in L.A. in 2016.

Today they had Jason Cole on. Myers said he thinks at least one team is coming to L.A. in 2016 and the one sure team is the Rams. He also said he's talked to an owner (off record) and they don't want this to drag out any longer, it will get done in January.

Cole said he believes 2 teams are coming and one will be the Chargers while the 2nd will probably be the Rams

One thing i think i've noticed but i'm not sure if it's true (or interesting) is the Fox guys tend to think the Rams are coming whereas the CBS guys tend to think it will be the Chargers...

I didn't listen to their show today, but I've heard Chris Myers say a number of times that the Rams are coming to LA.

I noticed that Jason Cole was going to be on their show today, and made a point not to listen to that segment. I don't think he ever provides any real insight about "NFL to LA".

You're right about the Fox guys saying/thinking the Rams are moving to LA. That's probably because NFC games are almost always on FOX (Bradshaw....I think he even said all of the FOX guys think they Rams are moving back).

It makes sense to put an AFC and NFC in LA similar to NYC. They just better be right about LA supporting 2 teams from the jump.

Chris Myers probably heard the news from Joe Buck haha

Btw Mad Dog Chris Russo on radio last week said he talked to some guy that's real close with an owner and the owner supposedly wants Rams/Chargers in LA.

I thought it was interesting that Cole said the NFL really wants 2 teams in the bay area. They see it as 2 separate markets.

We've heard that the NFL likes the SD market as well, its a great venue for SBs.

How illogical would it be for the owners to take 2 teams out of markets they like, and keep 1 team in a market it doesn't like (STL) as much?

How convoluted would it be if they put the Chargers and Raiders in LA, and then back filled SD and Oak with other teams (maybe the Rams being one of them)?

I just wonder how the media doesn't think this all through.

Over here on the east coast I don't hear much about the LA sitch but when it comes up they usually say matter of fact that their guess is Rams because of Kroenke money.
Boomer Esiason even intimated as much.
Doesn't mean much, because they could easily be low key and surprised if St Louis keeps the team. But one thing for sure, I don't hear ANY of the "poor St. Louis" rhetoric that is so common on places like RRF or the PD

Totally agree dieter...Here in Upstate, NY (Albany) most feel the Rams belong in Los Angeles and they are not paying close attention, but most feel St. Louis was never a football town. I have nothing against the Gateway City, but Georgia took a sweetheart deal that the devil John Shaw put together and they never gave Los Angeles any chance.

As Hack has posted just three more weeks and I sure hope there will be a coaching change to go with the move too and then draft Jared Goff to make it a California clean sweep!

Media isn't there to think, they are paid to persuade [the public].

Almost to a man and lady, we have all sussed this thing out and I am intrigued to see if we were all on the right track. We could see through the "master of disaster" himself, decipher all the spin. If things go the way it appears THIS WEEK, props to all of you guys for foresight, intelligence and perspective through out all of this.
