first play of the game?

so what will the rams do on their first offensive play of the game tomorrow, pass or run?
in the 36 games mcvay has been the head coach, the rams have run the ball 26 times (72%) on the first play of the game and passed it just 10 times (28%).
when the rams have passed on the first play of the game, opening drives have tended to end much better than when they've run the ball - half of the 10 opening drives that started with a pass resulted in a td, while 2 drives ended in a field goal, all told that works out to a 70% scoring ratio when the rams began the game with a pass, significantly higher than the 46% scoring ratio when they've started a game with a run.
of course field position, opponent quality and defensive look, etc. has a lot to say in the matter, ha ha.
anyhoo, what will the rams do tomorrow? run gurley on the first play of the opening drive seems like a good bet, no? or perhaps throw it to kupp? what say you?
