It's finally time! After a kick-ass season with a frustrating finish, it's time to see our boys back on the field, back in our Sundays and back to dominating other teams.

Starting with the Panthers, who finished 7-9 and third in their division last year and who may be having some O-line issues as they face AD and the Rams D-line.

McVay has not lost a Week 1 game. Here's to that continuing on Sunday! Go Rams.

Panthers: Cam Newton is not listed. Rookie OT Greg Little is still in concussion protocol and unknown if he will play.

Wow! It looks like I'm getting the game in here in Central Florida!

So... here's what I'm thinking:

1. The Rams should win this one, but I think the Panthers need to be respected as a tough opponent, particularly in their house.

2. Christian McCaffrey is the Panthers' engine on offense. The Rams need to jam him at the line much in the way they did in the second half against Alvin Kamara in the playoffs.

3. I wonder how much Cam Newton will wish to run after tweaking his ankle in preseason.

So... my fearless prediction:

Rams 30
Panthers 20

Football is back. Life just seems better. The weather feels nicer and that rash on my groi…...………….. ohhh let's leave that out.

Bring on that fool Cam. Our O-line worries me. Ya'll hear Kromer say about Noteboom and Allen as "its gonna be a work in progress".
