POST #1 TOPIC AUTHOR Lawler, of course, seems quite likely to be IR’d, either short or long term.JoJo Natson is just one fumble or misjudged punt return that hits the ground and bounces the wrong way from being released in favor of Webster.Demby is probably not sleeping all that well at night after his preseason. Kromer could get interested in another versatile OL player real quick should one become available.Evans would be well advised to start impressing Kromer, too. His 3rd round status will protect him for a while, but if an impressive player should become available to Kromer as an alternative? Then Evans could find himself going the JFM route. by CanuckRightWinger 5 years 10 months ago Total posts: 2777 Joined: Jan 13 2016 VANCOUVER, BC Superstar Three, maybe four, players’ Rams future may be quite “fluid”... POST #2 I agree 110% with Rams43.I think Les SmartLikeAFox Snead has some placeholder bodies on the "Final" 53 that are there only to be moved out should a stud Interior OLineman (or some other superior desirable player of worth) comes available suddenly.Natson, Demby....yes, they are candidates as "PlaceHolders" IMHO. Bobby Evans, no, not IMO.....no regime wants to admit a Draft screwup this early in the game. Evans was a 3rd Rounder. But I would add Troy Reeder as a guy who shouldn't sleep too soundly. Let's recall that both Natrez Patrick AND Clay Mathews can AND HAVE played ILB before.....so Reeder is also a PlaceHolder candidate to me. Reeder looked flat-footed on that TD pass to the Houston TE last Thursday Night....slow to react, the Texans TE was wide-open at the goal line. Looked like a Jimbo Haslett movie to these old eyes!! I think Les SmartLikeKlosterman Snead has 8 to 10 percent wiggle-room built into his "Final" 53. As always, JMO.
