It’s time for the four games before the games ... finally some football (kinda) !

PreSeason Game 1: Rams @Raiders
Saturday, August 10 at 5pm PST

What are we expecting / wanting to see?

Any info on if starters are playing?

Anyone going?

We still have two Joint Practice with the Raiders up in Napa,
This is where the Starters will get their playing time...

As far as the starters getting any pre season time,,, I don't see it happening...
Most likely, only the second, third and forth units...

The players I want to see,,, the competition between Kelly and Davis at RB and Hodges and Thomas at WR... (Thomas has been playing great in camp and in the joint practices too)

then Hollywood Henderson to see what he can do in the open field...

Also I would like to see Kiser at Mike,,,, and hopefully we get to see OO at OLB... and ILB/Allen both have been on hold from minor injuries... and the RAMs staff are just being cautious....

Of course would like to see all of the rookies play,,,, both Tackles in Edwards and Evans. and our DBs in Long, Trapp and Scott... and Gaines at NT....

And of course the VET QB Bortles under McVays offense,,,, even though it will be a basic playbook,,,

and last, I want to see Demby in how much he has improve from being on the bench the whole year last season.... I still say he will start this season at RG and Blythe going back as a backup guard/center,,,, if not,,,, maybe by the sixth game of this season....

How bad is it that I’ve been so busy with this project I totally forgot we have Bortles.

Will this be on tv?

Will Bortles get the starter treatment and sit out preseason?

I'm on the other side. Bortles has gotten plenty of reps in practice and the scrimmages, that's starter treatment which makes me think there's a good chance he won't play in preseason. I'm actually pretty interested to see how the Rams play it.
