I don't have the courage to listen to it right now. Balzer bugs me. I'll probably wait until someone else comments on it, before I listen to it.

Balzer is a homer. He's as bad as Bernie is on this subject. He clearly only sees things through St. Louis glasses.

I had a conversation with him last year on Sirius radio. I mentioned how Stan had bought land in Inglewood and he dismissed it. He said he was a land owner and would build a Wal-Mart. He cut me off before I could tell him he bought the land from Wal-Mart because one couldn't be built there.

Again, his opinion is about as valid as Bernie or Shane's on this subject. He just hears and sees what he wants. You would be better off asking someone wearing a blindfold and earplugs what they've read and heard.

Welcome to the board laram. Nice to have you here.

Yeah that was like listening to a Shane Gray audio tape. The thing I got was he was uptight trying to spin everything StLoo's way.

He's confident the BoA will pass the bill on time despite the reported winter break they take starting Dec 11. He thinks they will vote on the 18th. A week from tomorrow.

He says the $75 million from the naming rights has already been replaced. He didn't say how or by who, just that it was and he is confident the BoA will get it done.

He alleged all the boxes are rapidly getting checked off off but wasn't specific on the land part. What is up with that? Are they going eminent domain?

These guys all seem the same. They maintain this confidence around there but don't finish their supporting reasons.

And he would bet a milkshake they are staying if that's all he would lose.

There is a lot on deNILE along the banks of the Mississippi.

Apparently Kroenke was asked to present the letter by the stadium committee. That kinda goes against what Balzer and others from St Louis are insinuating. The locals are saying he was desperate and threw a hail mary. It turns out this was requested and he complied.

Supposedly the stadium committee is backing Spanos. Stadium committee asks for a deal from Stan. Stan replies.

I'll let y'all put the 2 and 2 together.

The question I have is why is Carson the preferred plan with several powerful owners, as has been reported (specifically by Jason Cole with Roggin today).

After hearing for months that Carson is a joke, I am trying to understand how that is possible when it has a strong backing.

RamTough...the math has been easy for some time. It just goes to show that some of these reporters are only hearing what they want to hear. Balzer has been wrong on just about everything.

Hunn has just been reporting what facts are in front of him. He still has a St. Louis slant but not nearly as bad as Bernie/Balzer/Gray...not sure why I threw Gray in as he isn't a reporter.

Hunn just stated that it was a request for Kroenke to allow for an equal partner. Stan complied. I think we can all see where this is headed.

Max....I think it's just posturing by supporters of Spanos. Carson has never been the preferred site and it's clear by the LA committee asking Kroenke for equal partnership that Inglewood is the better option and still helps Spanos and his buddies.

I think the most pertinent thing Jason Cole said to Roggin was that the NFL will first determine the teams they want in LA and then work out a deal to make it happen.

I think that's what Kroenke's letter was all about. The league asked him to write the letter to establish a path to the deal.
