Fred Roggins New Take 11-29 4:30pst

Just got done listening. Fred's new take: forget everything we've heard. forget Carson, Inglewood, St. Louis. the only thing that matters now is if Commisioner Goodell has the juice to get rams in Inglewood. Goodell's idea in the first place and in Roggins opinion Rams and Chargers were the choice in Inglewood from the gate. But since inflategate and Ray Rice among other things, Goodell has lost juice in the eyes of the owners and now its all about if he has enough owner support to get LA done. If not, owners don't want to vote, and may delay another year.

Also, (while I was typing this, Fred says Kroenke, Gov Nixon and Task Force (Peacock?) had a meeting just minutes ago, presumably Krooneke wants to hear the proposal one last time before he attends the owners meeting in Dallas.

If that's true, I'm guessing Stan wants to make sure nothing has changed and can reassure the other owners why its still unacceptable.

It's not exactly new. This was the 'big" news that he talked about last Wed. There's a long thread about it.

More leaking in. Meeting with Gov was at Rams Park. Peacock was there at Rams Park also, but apparently did not attend the meeting.

WTF? The Gov of Misouri travels to Rams Park? Peacock not in the meeting but waiting outside?

Let the speculation begin!

I don't get what this juice thing means exactly. Roggin and Vinny were talking about this juice thing last week. It made them sound childish.

What exactly does Goodell have to do to get Inglewood done? Is this about Goodell getting owners who are supporting Carson to switch to Inglewood? And why would they stiff Goodell just because he lost Deflategate? It really makes no sense. It really just sounds like a narrative that Roggin is tossing out there.

Now, Kroenke is meeting with the Task Force after he was never involved with them before and Peacock was crying to the other owners that Kroenke never talked to them. Who knows what that means.

Nothings changed as far as I can see. LA is still the pot of gold and STL is still the rust belt. And just think about the mess they have created if they delay another year. It make no sense, and Roggin should know better.

This is the article with that info.

On the eve of a key NFL owners meeting in Dallas, Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon met with Rams owner Stan Kroenke on Monday at Rams Park, multiple sources told the Post-Dispatch.

Dave Peacock, co-chair of the St. Louis stadium task force, also was at Rams Park on Monday, although it's not believed that Peacock took part in the meeting.

Kroenke was in attendance last month in New York when the task force made its presentation to three NFL committees. But Monday's get-together may be the first time that Kroenke and Nixon have met face-to-face on anything related to relocation to Los Angeles or the St. Louis stadium project.

Specifics of the meeting were uncertain, but according to a source, Kroenke wanted to make sure he had a "complete understanding of things."

That perhaps was a reference to Kroenke wanting to know the current status of the St. Louis stadium plan, and the financing of the stadium, in advance of the league meetings.
