I've got a bit of concern.

The Rams just laid out a ton of money and he can't seem to make his flight.

I know it's voluntary. The excuses have to end at some point.

Get your ass to work!

AD is at work....

I'm just frustrated that the Rams paid a bunch of money to a player that doesn't care as much as the rest of the team.

I thought they gave Fowler a 1 year prove it deal.

And I also thought this is his 1st excuse.

So the Rams will move on if Fowler doesn’t produce this year. Given that they already invested picks in him last year, I think the Rams were wise in handling it this year.

Its a little less than the franchise tag.

Don't get me wrong. Fowler, hopefully is a big part of their defense.

He came in late last season and seemed to improve.

I'm not seeing the commitment.

Especially after missing a flight. Really, 2 days is time better well spent.

Fowler also didn't make an earlier OTA but it was something McVay knew about ahead of time.

Still this stuff means pretty close to nothing to me, big deal he missed a flight. I'll be more interested if he misses tackles...

True. It means nothing at this point in the season. I doubt we will be talking about Fowler missing a sack because of voluntary workouts

It just seems like he should be bought in at this point.

The Rams stepped up and paid the man!

How exactly does someone actually miss a flight?
And also consider this "someone" has the financial wherewithal to have the most convenient arrangements set up, possibly even arranged by the team itself.
Surely all will be forgotten based on how he plays in actual games, but the idea of "missing a flight" is a total disrespect to the team IMO.
Would love to hear he had some sort of a valid excuse

I dunno. There's plenty of reasons to miss a flight. Could be he was too nonchalant about it and didn't care if he was late and missed it. Coulda got a flat tire. Coulda been an unexpected traffic jam to the airport. Who knows? I know this wasn't mandatory but I do like our players to participate and show their commitment. At least he's showing up at some point.

Disappointed.

Not the end of the world, but... disappointed.
