Decided to come to this forum as the other one is having technical difficulties.
This site seems a little more harmonious with the emphasis on "little".
I will input my 2 cents worth on the Gurley issue since that seems to be the topic du jour during the offseason.
I see 3 possible scenarios:
A) Gurley will recover with rest and return to his usual self.
B) Gurley will be somewhat hampered and see reduced action in order to be available for the playoffs.
C) Something serious has happened and he will not recover and it will give the team an opportunity to showcase the Brown/Henderson tag team.
Of course, there can be overlap or other possibilities e.g. John Kelly has an awakening.
I predict the likely scenarios as B) 50%, A) 30% and C) 20%.
My prediction is based mostly on what hasn't happened.
Gurley has not had another knee surgery. Without being privy to what the MRI showed, this says a lot. It seems that conservative management including rest and physical therapy is the game plan.
If this plan does not work out, I think the team will be fine. I have always been a Malcolm Brown fan. The return of Kupp should do wonders for Goff's confidence. The tight ends have another year of experience.
So there you have it, the optimistic post of the day.

Welcome aboard OC!
As you can imagine we've been over this subject quite a bit around here.
Do you go to camp in Irvine? We're always looking for camp reporters...

seriously tho, welcome to rfu, very glad you've joined us!
re your post, makes sense... so much we don't know about the gurley sitch, which of course has fueled a lot of (imo) alarmist speculation, and flat-out ridiculous headlines. personally i think gurley is doing everything possible to make sure he's healthy and ready to go in week 1, and i think he will be, we'll see.

welcome OC...
on the gurley take.. my 2 cents..
football is a tough game, and on that note, sometimes players take a toll that is more than the body can stand..
TG may be in that category..
i got knee ligs torn in a motorcycle wreck, and though no surgery was required, i was in a cast from my toes to my gonads for 8 weeks.. after they removed the cast, i wore a brace for what seemed like several months, yet after taking it off, my knee would still buckle if not careful..
it was over a year before things worked like normal, and yet still when i would play basketball, my knee would give under hard stress, and the pain, though short lived, was so excruciating, i would break out in a sweat, and within a few moments would be ok...
it's really hard for me to imagine a pro football player dealing with what i do in a pick-up basketball game..
but, medicine has changed a lot since the early 80's, and hopefully gurley is capable of being productive.. it's really all we can hope for...
im on the gurley needs less touches, and that will help him make a better showing late in the season take.. because to me, last seasons ending was a total wtf, why is he not in?...
any ways.. welcome OC glad to have you aboard

I did attend the 1st camp in 2016. Might try again this summer but my other job keeps me pretty busy.
Thanks for the welcome, fellow fans!

Welcome to the forum OC.
I tend to agree on the points regarding Gurley. We don't know the whole story. Its possible there is no story. Maybe Gurley just wore down and his knee inflamed. Maybe they worked a guy who had a major knee injury a little too much. Maybe now he's fine. Maybe they need to reduce his workload and he'll continue to be fine. Looks like they plan to do that with the offseason moves regarding the position.

Why lie about his condition? I can see why they were tight lipped during the playoffs but why the cover up now? Or maybe they have no idea about his prognosis?
Seems like arthritis.

And it might be nothing now. Just something the talking heads have to talk about (and for us to then be concerned about).
Welcome to RFU and welcome to @OCRam . What part of the OC do you call home? I'm in Laguna.

Thanks for the welcome, Ram Bros. We just moved to Mission Viejo. Loving it here. Can't wait to see the Rams train in Irvine.
Big McVay fan. Looking forward to watching the new Rams defense this season and hoping McVay diversifies the personnel groups. Added a bunch of upgrades. Good job Les and Sean.
Interested in seeing John Kelly's progress and how Henderson will be used.
Been a lifetime fan and these promise to be the best years for Ram Nation!
