It's around this time every year when St. Louis and Los Angeles NFL fans come together and ask themselves, "Do we even want The Rams?"

I'll take them in, help them nurse their wounds, rub LA blue and Gold dust on them and snap my fingers so that the horrible memory of the kidnapping they were just saved from is truly in their past. They are safe and whole again.
The only reason we ask this question this time of year is because this is usually when we realize another campaign has failed. Now pass the gravy please.
Happy Thanksgiving to all Rams fans and their families every where.

Doing a herb butter rubbed 20 pounder indirect on the grill, brining a whole breast and grilling that too. Italian sausage (grilled), sausage stuffing, stuffed mushrooms, potato/cheese casserole, cheesy broccoli, sweet potatoes w/brown sugar and spices, green beans, sage mushroom gravy, cheese cake and pumpkin pie. Dry Martini to start, a little beer, some wine with dinner, a nice scotch and a cigar afterward. Golf on Friday, golf on Saturday. Then I'll worry about my lousy Rams.
Oh, that's not what you meant E?

It'll be a loooong day. But one of the best days of the year. Like opening day of Major League Baseball, NFC/AFC Championship week, the Derby, the Indy 500, Sunday at Augusta, Sunday at the US Open, April 16th, The NFL Draft....

Dayum, spent almost all day prepping and cooking, just to cook more tomorrow. Geez, love this time of year, but cooking for 26 is going to be rough. Last year was 22. Done son for today. Time for a cocktail. Thankful Sted isn't dead. Thankful for all my Ram brothers in pain. Viva Los Ramos.

Love this holiday.....spent yesterday cooking all day with my guy: it was our Thanksgiving. Was fun. He decided to use some oil fryer for the Turkey, looked scary but he liked it and tasted great. I made all the other stuff and we opened some nice wine we were saving, ended in the jacuzzi.....lovely.

The no family no kids, do what you want Thanksgiving on a Tuesday.
Now, he's onto kids for the weekend and I'm onto my regular Thanksgiving with my friends. Baking tonight, everyone will bring too much food and we will eat all day tomorrow and watch football.
Though, not too excited about any of these games. I was really upset when I saw the Bailey shot post this morning, thankful he didn't die. Lots of Rams issues, but our team is better talent-wise than it's been in a long time, so there is hope as well. And, LA looms....
Happy Thanksgiving to all of the RFU posters! Hope it is wonderful and exactly as you like it. Cheers!
