Latest on Timeline for NFL's Potential Return to LA
Sunday, Nov. 22
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, citing two sources, said it "may be" until 2017 until a football team returns to Los Angeles. "It's gridlock," one of Rapoport's sources said. Rapoport added the league is hoping for a vote in May, but it's "not certain."
WTF?

If the NFL can't make a decision, Stan should make it for them. When the permits clear, just dig and dare the NFL to stop them.

and waiting a year clears up the gridlock how exactly? only way I see that is voter approval of a SD site and the Chargers bowing out. Maybe something happens in Oakland.
otherwise, the same situation again. Carson will remain as is. Can the Inglewood project wait? per usual, the NFL looks like they will f this up.

If they break ground in the next two months in Inglewood, that will be the answer to ALL the questions.

At the December meeting, Stan should just tell them, look I gave you guys 11 months, my permits are ready, I'm building. SD and Oakland can use Inglewood as leverage, but enough is enough. If the NFL "old guard" thinks the St. Louis offer is good, let SD or Oak take it.

Gonna probably get crazier and crazier until it's over.
There's this new idea that if St. Louis comes up with it's offer, Stan can't go to L.A. And if Stan can't go to L.A., he'll go somewhere else.
Wait, what? A St. Louis offer would keep him out of L.A. but not Toronto?

they aren't breaking ground (or excavating for a stadium) without assurance from the league that they can move. I don't know why people think there will be some "breaking of ground day" or whatever.

Us fans need to be heard. This emotional rollercoaster they are playing with fans has got to stop. I'm ready to boycott the NFL, and anyone who advertises with the NFL until they make a decision. Putting it off for another year is BS. They have everything they need to know. We need to start e-mailing the league office.

They don't need assurance from the league they CAN move, they CAN move if Stan wants to force the issue

They can break ground on Mars, if they bring this offense it will not matter.
