IF we did that we could accomplish several things.
1) the Niners won't get Brown
2) I like Brandon a lot, but Antonio is a much better #1.
3) Not only would the Steelers get the equivalent of a first rounder--they get a guy who excels at the same position
4) This would even open the field that much more for our other wide outs.
5) We would have to at least guarantee the remaining 3 years portion of his contract and probably add some bonus' to it, to make it work.
6) Safer, here, likes this idea!!

Antonio Brown is still an elite player and he is someone who makes tough catches in traffic......something the Cooks can struggle with at times. He's regarded to be as disciplined as Aaron Donald in his workouts and toughness. He will want to make the Steelers look really bad. He is about 3 years older, I think, but is still in the middle of his prime.

No.

I'm not interested in a player who is 5 years older (30 rather than 25), costs more money, and seems to "not play nicely with others."

We're fine at WR, particularly with Kupp returning.

What the hell is it with these kind of "scenarios"? Trade Woods!!! Trade Cooks!!! Who the hell wants a head case who's only going to let his mouth get him a ticket out of town the next time he's unhappy? He's getting his wish this time so why should he believe when (not if) he pops off, he won't get his wish then? Screw Antonio Brown!!! Keep him. Pay him for his skills and his locker room cancer. How many Superbowl rings does he own?

"We not me" doesn't fit AB. I'll keep the much younger Cooks.

No one disputes Brown's talent. But the Rams have excellent receivers, who are team players and good citizens. One rotten apple could cause problems in the locker room and hurt the team.
