Uhhhh.............no thanks. Robert is a key to our offense. He's from LA has already renegotiated his contract once. He's not going anywhere

To me, it's not what "Bellicheck WOULD say" about Robert Woods KEY value to Los Ramos Offense....

it's what Bellicheck DID say two weeks ago in Atlanta. He said, "Woods is so key to McVay's Offense that I will commit TWO DEFENDERS to cover him all game long.....and totally screw-up the Rams Offense." :idea2:

We punted NINE times in SB LIII.....so I think Bellicheck figured out Woods value pretty accurately and shrewdly eh!! :idea2:

I truly appreciate the thought process.

What Bellichick has had is Brady more than anything else. Brady is a really good game manager.

I would rather Sean be Sean than be like Bill.

That's a big no for me.

Woods is quite possibly our most indispensable WR, he's a leader in the receiver room and his salary is pretty reasonable.

If i had to guess, and considering he already has, Belichick would trade Cooks...

belicheat would probably trade Gurley. However, his trade value probably a bit down with concern about his health. (and his contract)

Has Belichick ever traded a performing player, with 3 years left on a below market contract?

This seems like the exact opposite of what BB would do

And I’m not all that enthused about Reynolds. Overall seems pretty average to me.

Dick84 wrote:You bring up good points, for sure. I'm not sure what I'd call Reynolds. Average seems fair, but that's not bad for your 3rd WR.

Also... this ain't something I'm even close to pounding the table for. I'm kinda just exploring different ways to move forward and build a roster. I think standing pat is usually not a great idea.
Part of this concept was hopefully getting Isabella, or a guy like that.

I am really drinking what you are pouring.

I think Woods is not easily replaced therefore no matter the likely bounty, we are giving up someone too important to this team.

When Kupp comes back, oh my how that threesome can be difficult to cover.

I am in favor of keeping this band of brothers together for now.

I like Woods a lot ... but I doubt anyone will give a 2nd for him. I see a 4th round pick.

I'd prefer to keep him and maybe renegotiate his contract.
