And just to be clear. I've never once questioned your passion Ramzee. Based on everyone I've interacted with on this forum and a couple other forums, you are probably the most diehard fan I have met. And I tip my hat to you for that.

I understand your frustration, but all I'm trying to say is good, expensive seats don't define a true fan. And by showing these memorabilia, I think you've proven my point.

And this^^^^^^^^^ is why I like this forum.

And I would challenge anyone being a bigger Ram fan than me. And I do realize there are many many thousands just like me. :D :D :D

However you slice it, 8 tickets is too much.

I had the money to buy 6 extra seats. I was in wave 1 and basically all the blue sections were available. I could have easily sold the 6 extra tickets. Easily. At least for this year I could have.

I didn't bc it wasn't right. Some of my friends called me an idiot. They told me I had a great opportunity to make some extra cash.

Last year this time I would make a wish every night for the Rams to come back. My wish was granted.

I wasn't going to be that guy bc I know I wasn't the only one making that wish.

Personally, I don't know any 8 person families, but that doesn't mean some 5 or 6 person families didn't purchase tickets. I understand the point you are trying to make, but there would be no conceivable way for the Rams to justify one's fan "diehardedness" level over another's. If you wanted priority to be based on that, there would definitely be more problems with the process than the way they went about it.

I agree with you. I know there will be tons of diehard fans that won't get season tickets. But like I said in my previous post, I don't think being at the games in person is the only parameter that defines a true "diehard fan."

Being at the games or what seats you sit in has nothing to do with team or brand loyalty. I don't believe that and I'd never insinuate that. There's some diehard fans out there that can't afford tickets. I know that to be true. It's not a $$$ issue.

BuiltRamTough nailed it in his response and I'm going to quote that one next. It feels like they did right by the entrepreneurs but not right by the true blue fans. If you know what I mean.

I think at worst though this warrants a letter and I'm going to be writing a civil one soon.

First of all. Let me say thank you! You get it. You got it from the get go. You made the right decision! Deep down, you're a very quality individual. Know that.

I am in the same boat as you, minus the opportunity to have better quality tickets and I did the exact same thing. I only bought what I was going to use and I could whole-heartedly afford to buy up my 8 ticket allotment no problem, with plans to resell. I didn't have to stop there if I wanted. Had nothing to do with $$$ or profit though. That hurts the product!

I really didn't want to buy any at all. That should tell you about my entrepreneurial spirit in this regard. I don't care about making money off of the Rams. I'm a fan. Not a business man. Not in this space anyways. My only wish is to watch them succeed. I want the Rams to win. I want them to prosper. I don't care about making a dime off of them. I make my money elsewhere.

That would have cost a real Rams fan tickets though, that would have appreciated them. I didn't want to rob someone else of that opportunity just because they signed up a few minutes after me. I think if more people had shared these views, I probably wouldn't be sitting where I'm sitting right now and I probably wouldn't have started speaking up about it at all in the first place but man, I'm unsatisfied with my "investment" and I can't pretend to be happy about how this went down when in reality, I'm mad.

I spoke with a Rams rep a few weeks back and voiced concern with the 8 ticket limit and the fact that people could buy tickets in multiple sections. They told me a couple reasons as to why they were reluctant to drop the limit or stop purchases in multiple sections. Apparently, they had returned deposits to some people who had made multiple deposits from the same household. For example, a group of roommates living together who wanted their own tickets had deposits returned to all but one roommate and expected the one roommate to buy for all.
Another reason they mentioned was that some people wanted to buy tickets for themselves and for businesses they owned. I didn't really like that reason but what can we do about it?
