My dad just texted from USC. Says rain has almost stopped altogether.

I'm not super confident but we'll see soon enough...

to hear some tell it, the coliseum is usually a mess at night even when it doesn't rain, because of all of the dew... but, yeah, it would be nice if it hadn't rained in days, hopefully the tarp does its job!

Well, I don't know which team will be more adversely affected by a bad track - if that is what the turf ends up being. Favors offense in general one would think, as they know where they are going and the D reacts. We will see in 6 hours.

Meanwhile, in the Missouri city that can keep its football team.

Sideline drainage is my concern. Not supposed to rain past 2 or 3 though.
Pumps anyone?

i don't think the field condition will rival indoor field conditions, heck there was some slipping in the rams/falcons game last year, hewitt told me it's never perfect (he's with usc now), and might be a bit mushy tonight, but some are acting like it's going to be mud bowl 2, and like some of these vids prove it, which i don't really get.
