goff 's numbers, and offensive scoring - vs the better teams in qb rating allowed (red def rank column) and the lesser teams in qb rating allowed, night and day:

another solid defense and another offensive fail.... the good news? the offense sucked vs good and bad defenses last season, so progress, something real to build on it would seem.

Also, that roughing the passer call again 99, which lead to Vike's 3rd TD, was outrageous. If not called, we've got their back against the wall on 3rd and long.

Yeah we had some tough breaks today. However the Vikings played well. Better than us and deserved to win that game.

The Rams hurt themselves far to many times. But what was worse is that we couldn't stop them. This game is in the D.

Perhaps Fish was on to something with that Keenum guy ? lol

Well, they can approach this in one of two ways. They can learn from it. Realize they still have a ways to go and re-focus on their shortcomings. They're still in the playoff hunt.

Or they can let it get them down and lose momentum. Start doubting themselves. After the past few years it would be easy to do. McVay's got his work cut out for him to get them out of this.

McVay will insist on your Plan A.

This game was very winnable. 4 plays did us in; Kupp's Fumble, Kupp's drop on 3rd down entering the red zone, the roughing the passer call on Donald, and the Thielen 5 yd. hitch that went for a 64 yd TD. Losing to Case Keenum just makes it a bit worse.

happy for case, but the vikes defense has held 8 of the 10 offenses they've faced to just 14.5 points per game on average, tim couch would be doing great with that.
