That's crazy. 50 miles would take Metlife Stadium (Giants stadium) thru New York and in to Danbury Connecticut or could make it all the way to the Delaware Water gap and reach Pennsylvania...Dont you guys have awful traffic in Cali too? How long does it take to travel 50 miles? At rush hour you need to have left the previous day. Earlier in spring I drove the 300 miles from Laguna Beach to San Simeon one night to get breakfast. Took a little over 3 hours because it was the middle of the night.I finished my meal and left San Simeon by 9:00am to get back into LA before 1:30 to 2:00pm "rush hour". I successfully made the 245 miles trek back to the Santa Monica Fwy (10) on time. The bad news was the traffic was so bad (no accidents either) that I didn't get back home to Laguna (only 50 miles further) until just before 5:00 pm. I just kept saying to myself, 'self where are all of theses people going? GO RAMS !!! GO DODGERS !!!
