I'm not sure that was very wise, but now he has to go back it up ..

Two days out and chance of snow has turned to 100%. Looks like we are getting a snow game.

For reference, I was at that Snow Blizzard game w Philly v Detroit. It accumulated 6-8 inches of snow during the game (in the first half, the second half it quit snowing). So, 3-5 inches shouldn't be quite that bad comparatively.

Snow showers early will become steadier snow in the afternoon. Temps nearly steady in the low to mid 30s. Winds N at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 100%. Snow accumulating 3 to 5 inches.

Sean was in a bind. He could play for seeding, but go into the playoffs with an obviously gimpy armed QB or go in with a rested Stafford and hope for the best. I think resting Stafford was a clear admission he's not 100% physically. It was clear from the Viking game that he's as close to 100% as he's going to get. In hindsight McVay made the right decision.

But IMO it also highlighted why IMO Stafford is gone after this season. They aren't going to pay $50M to a QB who fades as the season goes on.

I've faced those types of decisions during my over 30 yrs as a business owner. You make decisions and live with them. I think the Rams must have their most complete game of the season to beat the Eagles under adverse weather conditions. Just imagine the Lions and their fans, the last team they want to face is a Rams team that beat Philly in bad weather.

It's why I think if the Rams pull out a win they will be in the SB. They have for the most part a healthy team. We will see just how good they have become over the season. All I ask is that they simply don't give the game away with sloppy play. If they don't I believe in this team being good enough to win.

I'm glad we won't have to wait until Sunday night or Monday. The suspense is killing me! I want to get on with my victory celebration!

As a far as the game goes, I have no idea what to expect. Could see the Vikings game outcome coming. If the forecast is true, that kind of makes the probability of a lopsided game either way pretty low. And the current Rams don't look like a team that will beat themselves.

Snow helps the Rams. I don’t care that they are from the warm confines of SoCal. It slows the game down. It’s simply going to be about who wants it more and who is more physical.

It was actually smart not to say anything about the team or players. It was about the fans. I'm sure he's gonna get an earful the whole game. But it could motivate him even more. He's already a beast. Imagine if he's an angry beast?

In any other market that would be social media outrage/bulletin board material. In Philly they just go "Fuck yeah!" and go on with being meatheads.

I'm a little skeptical about how much bulletin board stuff really matters. I mean the Rams were gonna lose Monday if Campbell hadn't said that? The game would've been different? I'd like to think that even without that, Rams would've found a way to get fired up.

As for the snow, pretty sure it helps the Eagles though not sure how much there's really gonna be.

We'll see...
