He is a safety, and I only see the RAMs carrying 5, so if they go six,
then he is in a battle between him and Jason Taylor III for that six position,
but I just don't see the Rams carrying 6.
I wouldn't be surprised in seeing the RAMs signing a CB FA.
Ahkello Witherspoon is still available.

That could happen too. I think McCollough makes the roster. They may list Lake as a safety but he’s a jackknife.

He'll make the PS.

Don't forget, a lot of these pre-season game, are playing against a vanilla playbook.

Now if someone from the starters or 2nd unit gets injured prior to the season starting,

Then yes, I can see them making the squad. But most likely, its the PS.

Now as for Bruss, since Leveston is out with an ankle injury,

I can see him moving up and Leveston going into the PS.

As for Thomas, I just don't see him getting on the 53,

At best, the PS.

The reason why I say about these OL,

We can't forget, who are they playing against,

and against a vanilla playbook.

As I stated, I only see the RAMs carrying 9 OL,

Cause you would have Noteboom who could play four positions.

So thats six right off the top. The next three will be C/Limmer, T/McClendon,

and that last spot, will be either Leveston or Bruss.

Good point, but Q Lake often plays the star so who knows. I think Taylor gets cut.
Also Russ Yeast can play the star as well. Lots of flex

IMO unless they sign a FA I can see them looking at Charles Woods to step up to be #4 CB. He's got average length at (5'11") decent long speed at (4.48) and is best played in man coverages. He reportedly looked good in OTAs.

IMO it will be Pleasant's call but their options at this point are limited. They could wait for roster cutdowns and grab someone off the wire which is more likely than signing a FA at this point.

It will be interesting if Woods plays in this last game. His play against Dallas was limited but okay. He made mistakes against the Chargers but that is to be expected of a UDFA. How he responds will be the question. He's had a solid OTA and TC so he could get another look.

IMO a sleeper would be Jason Taylor who like Lake is a hybrid safety/CB type of guy. Good length and weight at 6' and 205 lbs, with good speed at 4.5. Jason could make the transition to CB under Pleasant and give the Rams two hybrid CB/safety options. Frankly, Taylor would be my choice as he gives Shula much more versatility on how he's played.

Thy will be signing some of these “bubble” rookies to the 53 instead of vets (think Reeder, Tre Tom, Murchison) bc of cost and bc these young guys will get exposed and likely signed off the PS. I get what 69 states about vanilla schemes and lesser talent in preseason. But, good angles, instincts, speed, situational awareness, and tackling ability translate regardless. And ALL of those are required for STs.

Rams probably don't want to give Scott and/or Evans so many carries on Saturday but maybe this is about something else...

I think Elvis is right, they have their 4 RBs and don’t want Scott exposed. They can’t expect Evans to take 100% of the snaps at RB.
