I understand there is only so many jobs, but no way he doesnt get at least one offer.

Kinda crazy that the Rams are promoting it but they are overclassy IMO with this stuff.

Cynically: Man they really want those comp picks.

But really, Rams have always been good at promoting their coaches and players, helping them get better gigs and more money even if it's not with the Rams...

Never saw them do this before. If we lose Morris, that is a lot of leadership (Henderson) on the defense that has left the building. McVay going to be tested again with coaching hires. The one benefit of losing now, he can start now.

We’re gonna lose some coaches. With the exception of 2022, MCV has done a great job replacing those losses. We should be fine, albeit, maybe even better.

But 34 you just said losing Henderson was massive?!

McVay has been very good when given time to find coaches. But the well could be running dry. Raheem and Henderson will be tough too replace.

Evero is a great option but he is getting a ton of interviews as well.

Will see

There are a lot of coaches who they say are good coordinators but bad head coaches. I think Raheem might be the opposite. Not that he isn't a really good coordinator but his skills tend to be leadership stuff and not as much X's and O's strategy. So now that we know McVay is hanging around for awhile, a more X's and O's oriented DC might be a good thing.

The thing is, isn't it an attractive proposition to come work for McVay....more so every as every year passes? He doesn't block them from advancement. He doesn't scapegoat them. And chances are IF you are good at your craft, the team will have success and your chances for advancement increase. I'd think given the choice between McVay and a number of other head coaches, it's an easy decision.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but did anybody else catch a glimpse of AD crying on the sideline after the game. I thought, "oh shit, he's retiring" but when I saw the Henderson news I felt better. Not that much better though...... He either knew prior to the game or immediately afterwards.

If McCarthy and Siriani get the boot as many think they will, that will certainly increase Raheem's chances of getting a gig...

I mean that is a fairly far leap. He def has the leadership part and I think that is a lot of a DC's value as well. The Rams keeping most offenses in check all season def is a credit to him and the scheme he used as well as the players.
