He kept patting everybody on the back Baker. And led a huge 98 yd drive. Montanaesque staffordesque. Something about that stadium. Well a star was in L.A. tonight and his name is Baker Mayfield. Great job Sean Mcvay getting him in there. This is a Hollywood script.

Well said, we have never saw Ben Skow make a catch like that EVER. This is also a nice insurance policy if something is worse with Staff. Hopefully Baker can play solid the remaining 4 games.

I agree, I think the only way Staff doesnt come back is if he needs surgery and or it doesnt heal right.

Exactly to this and PA’s post. Stafford will be back unless it is medically unsound. Everyone will be back except the FA’s we won’t re sign like Rapp, Wolford, etc.

There is some work to do OL, Edge, secondary, RB. But the rest of the team is solid with good depth. If Baker plays great the rest of the way, someone will make him a starter. Our chances of keeping him as a QB 2 are pretty slim, IMO. We only sign him if Staff retires. So we will need a QB2.

But this team has enough to make some smart moves then we are back. Health, as always and as we have acutely seen this year, is critical.

Yeah, I don't see him not getting an offer. But where and how much?

If by some slim chance he doesn't get a good offer, the Rams could make him an incentive laden offer with the thought in mind Stafford may only play another year or two. (At least in Baker's mind.)

But no, if he plays halfway decent he'll be offered a starting job somewhere. Won't he?
