Elvis, RedAlice liked this post I haven’t done it, but I’d try the metro green line (you pick it up at the holiday garden inn, a couple BLOCKS next to yours) and ride to Hawthorne station. Sorry I thought embassy was closer, but anyway that neighborhood is nicer to walk.I think there are free buses from that Hawthorne/Lennox station to SOFI on game day. You’ll have to wait in line to get on those busses and wait in line to get on the metro on game days. So I’m sure it’s not going to be hassle free. But if you’re patient and not in a rush, it’ll work.https://thesource.metro.net/2021/08/09/ ... i-stadium/ 2 by Mr. Sparkle 3 years 9 months ago Total posts: 989 Joined: Nov 28 2017 Orange County Ca. Downtown El Segundo is actually a secret little enclave in LA. As a lifelong Angelenos, I’m still surprised when I roll through downtown El Segundo. It feels like a whole different world. Lots of small local coffee shops and even cool little bars with some micro brews. That area around Maple and Nash is a bit of that. Super quiet and safe at night. Just a whole different vibe than north of Century which is more LA proper (urban, dirty, etc).Since you’re probably taking a shuttle directly to your nearby hotel, if you have a choice and it cost about the same— I’d stay south of Century hotels. The hotel shuttle to embassy is going to take almost equal time to take you to garden inn. by T3rry 3 years 9 months ago Total posts: 46 Joined: Sep 13 2021 LA Coliseum Undrafted Free Agent SoFi impressions - Grade D (And More Impressions) POST #98 Elvis liked this post Some great info here, guys.I'm planning to maybe hit up the AZ game. My main concern is the parking/traffic situation. Looks like there is a "Green Line/Metro" option, where you can park in a metro lot for a few bucks and take the metro to (or close to) the stadium.A few times at the Coli.. we would just walk around for an hour and get a little further from the stadium to call an Uber. Seems like that might have to be an option as well... but the rates might not be worth it. Looking forward to reading more info as it comes in. 1 by RedAlice 3 years 9 months ago Total posts: 6781 Joined: Aug 07 2015 Seattle Hall of Fame SoFi impressions - Grade D (And More Impressions) POST #99 ziggy wrote:I don’t know how much additional time you have, but if it were me… I’d stay south of century. The hotel shuttle to embassy is going to take almost equal time to take you to garden inn.Thank you - I will look into that. But if you’re patient and not in a rush, it’ll work.https://thesource.metro.net/2021/08/09/ ... i-stadium/Great info! Thank you. I will likely try this if Uber is looking to be a pain.
