I don't know if you guys are joking but I hope you don't take it down. I HATE when message boards do that. The nature of the board should dictate whether something stays active or not. If "no one" wants to read it, it'll drop off the front page and fade into obscurity.

Otherwise, "someone" must be interested, right?

I wasn't referring to that article. I was referring to this thread. The only person that really posts/bumps this thread is STL Loser, but I don't expect the thread to be deleted.

But thanks in part to an ownership that was lax in enforcing all the provisions of that maintenance contract, the dome fell out of its top-tier status.

Am I reading this right(from the article)? Is this writer trying place blame on the Rams for the stadium shortcomings? I always thought they were doing the Commission a favor by giving them exemptions and extensions.

I mean, what was the alternative? If the Rams had called them on the shortcomings each time they came up, they could have broken their lease a decade earlier.

Yeah, this article is pretty biased. The way she characterizes the events is very slanted against the Rams.

I saw no mention of Kroenke's original plans to make St. Louis a hub of international sports and how St. Louis fought him on that and their greed ultimately led Kroenke to just pull up stakes and leave.

mokler, it was off the frnt page. As '82 pointed out, it's StLoser that keeps bumping it.
I think even he realized it is old hat until the courts render a decision.

I don't think we need to delete anything. St. Loser was being his usual irascible sardonic self.

I, for one, don't mind keeping up on this stuff. It involves the Rams and a time when we were all paying acute attention...
