Lawyers working for St. Louis get paid handsomely. Yes. 30 percent of 790 million. Also then rams won’t be responsible for that full amount. It’s a drop in the bucket for the nfl and league I’m sure will front most of the money.

Kroenke gets away with a slap on wrist. The non trial is a big winner here.

Hopefully the politicos in St.Louis spend the money wisely. Maybe they should put it in a structured settlement so they only get so much per year

Well, now that its over can we just move on? I know a lot of people in St Louis wanted their pound of flesh taken. And some of them are not happy with the settlement. Even though its a huge amount of money.

In the end, as always, the lawyers made a lot of money for themselves. And a city is without a team or promise of one in the future. Who started this whole thing anyway? Who got the ball rolling on the lawsuit? If it was the lawyers I think its clear what they wanted the whole time. A lot of money for themselves.

I'm curious to see how much of that is assessed to the Rams.

What % of culpability falls on the Rams?

Every team that voted for, including the teams that reaps the benefits from, as well as the teams that supported the move shares responsibility.

Pretty much every team in the NFL.

ESK allegedly promised to indemnify the other owners and has allegedly recanted. That is a wrinkle. Again, considering the dog and pony show in the StL courts and the fact that SoFi had significant cost overruns, you'd think they might work with him.

The $790 million has to be paid in 30 days. What if Stan plays chicken and refuses to pay, forcing the league to?

Another provision is that all trial related materials must be destroyed by St. Louis and the courts 7 days after payment. Proof of complete destruction must be delivered to the Rams and NFL by 3 days after that.

This is notable as the St. Louis Post Dispatch filed a bunch of Sunshine Law/Freedom of Information Act requests this morning.
