-The arbitration session went until early evening. No details are leaking out regarding that. The only fact you can read in to is neither side stormed out in a huff because of too low an offer or too high of a demand.
-Trial related both side filed tons of paperwork. Mostly centered about what would be exhibited and entered in to record.
-Looks like the St. Louis group wants to depose Demoff and filed paperwork for that. He was not deposed first time around. Again claiming the league meetings and ESPN article as a reason.
-The same local St. Louis polling/marketing firm the NFL used in 1993, 1995 and 2015 has been retained by The League.

We wouldn’t have stolen the Rams ....
There is no "Georgia" in "We", and I'm still looking for the "Stan" in "We".

I don't see how the "agreement" has any teeth.

A conference of 1407 city mayors that gets a symbolic gesture from the NFL?

Where only the Cities represented by 32 mayors of that group benefit, and only one city lost.

1374 cities have no horse in this race, and never did.

One city by itself shouldn't be able to be the sole representative of the Conference of 1407 Mayors.

The lawsuit hinging upon this agreement should have to be able to demonstrate how the overall Conference itself suffered harm.

The gains to one city outweighs the loss to another and therefore doesn't hurt the bottom line of the aggregate, therefore such a lawsuit relying upon this "agreement" is without standing.

On appeal, a higher court will rule that the "agreement" is non binding to this situation and remand the case to the lower court to make their ruling without relying upon the Conference of Mayors' agreement.

I'm gonna take a nap ... wake me up in 3-5 years when this is finally resolved.

Is it worth 750m-1B to NOT disclose various team finances? Appears so….

I will give them this…..being strung along while spending millions on planning commisions, doing site studies, preparing a proposal. They need that money back, plus interest.

Ive been to a few games …was even there when a Rams game and a World Series parade was going on at the same time. I believe St Louis is a great sports city and the Cardinals in particular are arguably a top 5 baseball franchise. They do deserve an NFL prescence and they didnt get a fair shake in the matter of the Rams leaving. Doesnt mean they deserve damages or lost tax revenue just because Stan treated them like crap.

What I do hope is after this the NFL pays for its own damn stadiums. I hope Allegiant in Las Vegas is the last public money spent on a stadium used 11 days a year.

No arguing those points. I can see reimbursement for costs as being a fair settlement. plus interest.

The failed Riverfront stadium wasn't adequately funded and was obviously a last ditch attempt to block the Rams movement. At that point it was fairly obvious ESK was over it. Not so sure Peacock or Blitz should have bothered. They sure went down swinging though.
Bottom line is that StL snoozed on their contractually agreed obligations and gave ESK control. Everything else happened (and was spent) afterwards. That was their choice and they should have realized the potential for failure at that point.
The vitriol should also be focused at the sports authority who lost the control.
