We pretty much wanted to lose this game today.

The defense can’t be trusted. I just hope the offense can carry us as far as we can go but with Cooper Kupp now gone there’s some issues there too.

It was a mess. BUT this team pulled out a win, against a hard fought divisional opponent, on a week of chaos, worry, and loss, many relocated from their very homes, and they did it with little to no practice or added rest. Not our prettiest win. But might be the one I'm the most proud of.

I don't need to reflect on this particular game any more than that.

They certainly had enough distractions. Possible peek ahead to the wierd week and next opponent coming up?

Rams are road warriors and will be Mexican style.

Sean said about Kupp, “I don’t think it’s good”.

The Rams tallied touchdowns from TEs Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee, today. The last time the Rams had two different tight ends score touchdowns in a game was December, 15, 2013, when TEs Cory Harkey and Lance Kendricks each scored touchdowns.

On WR Robert Woods’ 35-yard reception, he set a new single-season career high with 810 yards. His previous high mark was set last season at 781 yards in 12 games played.

RB T. Gurley has scored a scrimmage touchdown in 13-straight regular season games played, a franchise record. He has rushed 12 times for 102 yards in the third quarter. Marks his 16th career game with 100-plus rushing yards and 5th of the season.

With DT A. Donald’s 2nd sack on Wilson, he has set a new single season-high with 12.0 sacks and passed D’Marco Farr (11.5 in 1995) for the most sacks by a Rams DT in a single season.

As much as we complain about the defense, and it is deserving, this team knows how to win. I know we feel like we should win by a lot more against some of the teams we played, but they almost always find a way to win. There is something to be said about that. Fisher teams usually found a way to lose.

We have 5 wins that were one score difference. Not every team was a bad team. Denver isn't very good but they can be tough at home sometimes. Seattle plays everyone tough. They're better than their record. All five of their losses were within one score. We beat Minnesota and Green Bay in close games.

The point is, good teams know how to win. Sometimes teams have the talent and play well, but they haven't figured out how to win close games. The Rams know how to win. That could come in handy come playoff time. You can't expect a team to win a Superbowl blowing everyone out. The 1999 Rams final two games were hard fought and won late.
