Last time two NFC teams with a 6 or more game winning streak met this late in the season: 1973 Vikings 10, Rams 9. My first year as Rams' fan at age 7.

So, Saints fans are considering themselves the Undefeated Team Killers.

Undefeated Streaks die in New Orleans.

Nobody stays undefeated in NOLA. Feeling kind of hyped.

Tho, someone pointed out down thread that the Panthers did leave the Superdome undefeated. Rams next!

Selective memory much. And the last time I checked it was almost 2019.

Falcons 2012
LSU 2011
NYG 2009
Some other team, idk.

2015 Carolina panthers undefeated streak continued .....

Although the Cowboys ended the Saints win streak

This isn’t the first time the New Orleans Saints will face an undefeated team this far into the season, but never before have the Saints faced such an opponent with only one loss to their record.

That’s what makes this game against the 8-0 Los Angeles Rams different than the 2015 loss to the 11-0 Carolina Panthers or the 2012 win against the 8-0 Atlanta Falcons. Those two seasons both ended with 7-9 records for the Saints.

These Saints, at 6-1, appear destined for something greater. Their six-game win streak is the second-longest to only the Rams. It’s the kind of game that could have hosting implications in January. It’s about as close to a midseason Super Bowl as it gets.

Met some nice LA Rams fans from Thousand Oaks while waiting in line at ACME Oyster Co in the Quarter. It was their first time in New Orleans so I offered them some pointers. At first they gave us shit about being from St. Louis but we ended up having a good time.

Saw some people in Rams gear last night, but I'm guessing more will be flying in today. The Saints gear and decorations are all over the place. Had breakfast in the Garden District and was surprised by the number of flags and other items on houses.

LSU plays Bama tonight. Trying to decide if we do a nice dinner or go to a bar and watch the battle with the locals.

Judging by Rams Twitter, should be a decent showing of Rams fans tomorrow.

It's not exactly a secret but the char broiled oysters at Drago's in the Hilton are incredible. Eat some if you get a chance...

Not a fan of that Dragos as it's a big restaurant with "meh" service in a blah convention hotel. BUT you are right in that they are very good. I usually just go to the bar, get a drink, get an order (or two) of the char broiled oysters and then get out of there.
