I'll add a note that I don't dislike ROD or anything, I love ROD, I just disagree with the relocation policy or how information is presented. It comes of as picking a side, and I think that is a big shame.

I have to agree bro. I know in my time I was on that board I thought it had some of the best debate going on over the stadium and just some really thought out great positions. Even when I did not agree with some opinions many made me question my own and look for the holes in my arguments. Because of the subject matter I was of the opinion they were over moderating it and for that subject instead of coming across as Rams on demand to me they were coming across as Do as I demand and really was a shame as it had some of the best debate ya could find on any Rams board.

The implementation is what really gets me. I understand the desire to keep the peace, and at times the conversation got frustrating, especially when the same disproven points were repeated, or when people got hung up on a specific word or phrase just to prove a point (like the breach argument).. If they closed the thread and just put a new article and a brief description, that would bum me out, but I'd be okay.

I hate how articles will be posted with a disclaimer though, and I hate how everything Shane posts is praised and everyone is told to read it. I don't dislike Shane, and from a writing standpoint he does good work. Factually though, he's been one of the worst most biased reporters, and has yet to give out any real or new information, and he often cherry picks and tells half truths. From a content standpoint, it's awful. Yet his articles are the only ones consistently encouraged to be read. I don't like censorship of content to make adults feel better. Especially from people who I see personally get up in arms about censorship on things they feel is okay, but others are hurt about.

Oh don't worry the people who circle the wagons at ROD and defend St Louis and all it's flaws come here and read this board. These same people would be arguing till they were blue in the face that this article is factual and vital information. They'd also demand sources and proof for any article that was pro LA. And keep in mind the mods know this, and more than likely come here periodically.

I used to love ROD. It was my main board.

I even went to the NFL Draft last year and had a running thread on what was going on set up on ROD.

You'd figure that I would have been considered a key member of the board.

But I got into an argument with X over Pettis, saying he was a plodding JAG and I got kicked off the board. Obviously, I was proven right, but at the time I didn't realize that the board was so rose colored glasses over anyone wearing horns that to criticize any player was sacrilegious.

Looking back, I now realize that many of those guys are delusional and one of the guys who runs the board is a crazy thief.
