Stop and look at the time line. Stafford waited until just before TC after the draft to insure the Rams didn't draft a QB to pull his hold out threat.

Last year you said Stafford was blackmailing the Rams and Kroenke wouldn't stand for it, that we would see that when the Rams drafted a QB.

Instead the Rams did not draft a QB and gave Stafford what he was asking for: More guaranteed money.
