Tough loss .. if McVay does one of any of 3-4 things differently, mainly around running the ball, the Rams win.

He also owns whatever the hell is happening on "defense."

I hear ya— and I’m on the record for calling McVay’s sometimes questionable clock management and run v pass playcalling.

However, I do believe no other nfl coach could have had a salary saving year and this roster and takes the Ravens to OT. So I’m giving the guy a break. But, yea, how many close games or could-of-had-it games have we had this year? Brutal.

They will learn from it and it really didn’t hurt their playoff chances all that much. It better build character that leads to more efficient and effective play.

I think they hammer Washington next week. And the Vikings lose. Then we beat the saints and the Lions beat the Vikings. That will put us at the 7 seed.

But they're not a Championship team. They're fighting just to be a wild card team. And yeah, hopefully they're learning along the way. We'll see. Do they put this Ravens loss in the rear view or let it affect them going forward (like SF to Cincinnati) losing to a team they should beat? They should know what they need to do....win the game that week, then worry about who's next.

As much as I hated they lost that game yesterday, the positives are the offense is gelling and despite some gaffes (2 long TDs) the defense played well at times. They had Baltimore off their game in the first half.....8 runs/22 pass plays. Overall, they sacked Lamar twice and limited Baltimore to 33% on third down. After allowing the Ravens 8.1 yards per play in the first half, they dropped it to 5.0 in the second half and OT. But they still have work to do. I was encouraged because they came into the game hot.... 6-1 with their only loss being by 2 pts to the Browns.....and we slugged it out toe to toe with them.

Let's remember, even the most optimistic of us didn't have a strong feeling they'd make the postseason. They're ahead of schedule and as I said prior to the game, they can gain valuable experience fighting for a playoff spot, even if they don't accomplish that. But nothing beats getting there. Their chances are decent but they have to take a step up the rest of the way. We'd all like them to be in the postseason prior to the finale but if the SF game is a must win to make the postseason, it will be interesting to see how they respond to that. I'm sure many fans wouldn't give them a snowball's chance in hell.....just like the 2021 CCG.

They are fun to watch once again and nobody expected that.

The Rams did a great job adding subtle talent to the team in free agency and trades, ala Spoon, Dotson, JJ etc etc, but why they choose not to fill their biggest hole at EDGE will never know.

We have zero pass rush right now, it was embarrassingly bad against the Ravens. The fact the secondary held up well in the second half was encouraging. BY is missing in action the last 4-5 games, he has been stuck on 5 sacks for what seems forever. Hoeht is a jag...Keir, Ochaun/ Hampton trade not making the game day roster.

If only we would have added Clowney that might have made the difference in playoffs this year.

It was right there. >.>

Besides the very last play, the other one I am sure one of the others the team wishes they had back, was the Ravens 1st & 10 w/ 4:28 left in the 4th Q.

Awful. :3

Such a weird situation. The way the Rams played, so impressive. Are they a legitimate contender? Maybe.

Then again their chances of making the playoffs are pretty fucking precarious.

And, of course, they have to keep playing well...

That's my view. As I already said, 2nd youngest team in the league. Look back. Remember Kyren Wms doing the "turning to look before catching the ball" mistake, leading to an INT? Young players cost you games. But then...they develop.
