That will put us at the 7 seed. But they're not a Championship team. They're fighting just to be a wild card team. And yeah, hopefully they're learning along the way. We'll see. Do they put this Ravens loss in the rear view or let it affect them going forward (like SF to Cincinnati) losing to a team they should beat? They should know what they need to do....win the game that week, then worry about who's next. As much as I hated they lost that game yesterday, the positives are the offense is gelling and despite some gaffes (2 long TDs) the defense played well at times. They had Baltimore off their game in the first half.....8 runs/22 pass plays. Overall, they sacked Lamar twice and limited Baltimore to 33% on third down. After allowing the Ravens 8.1 yards per play in the first half, they dropped it to 5.0 in the second half and OT. But they still have work to do. I was encouraged because they came into the game hot.... 6-1 with their only loss being by 2 pts to the Browns.....and we slugged it out toe to toe with them. Let's remember, even the most optimistic of us didn't have a strong feeling they'd make the postseason. They're ahead of schedule and as I said prior to the game, they can gain valuable experience fighting for a playoff spot, even if they don't accomplish that. But nothing beats getting there. Their chances are decent but they have to take a step up the rest of the way. We'd all like them to be in the postseason prior to the finale but if the SF game is a must win to make the postseason, it will be interesting to see how they respond to that. I'm sure many fans wouldn't give them a snowball's chance in hell.....just like the 2021 CCG. They are fun to watch once again and nobody expected that.
