Also we have the same record after 6 games. Though we haven't yet traded for an O lineman like we did in 2019 (Corbett), that's certainly a possibility. One guy has emerged as a future starter (Jackson) just like 2019 (Edwards). So, all things being equal, you'd think.....with a better QB and a more experienced head coach, we might not miss the playoffs like we did in 2019. At the same point in 2019, San Francisco was 6-0 while Seattle was 5-1. This year, they're tied with the Rams. So is making the postseason as futile as it seemed before we beat Carolina and SF lost to Atlanta or does it seem like there's a chance? That is what 49er fans do, and I reject it. For us, that list on OL is pretty darn long though .. What are you suggesting.. that if the Rams had more talent to begin with they wouldn't have had so many injuries?I guess what I am getting at is, I'm pretty unsympathetic to fans of any team that say 'well we only lost because injuries' when they lose 1-2 guys.
