FWIW, I'd be pretty okay if they moved back to L.A., because a bigger market = bigger exposure. Plus, I've been a fan since 1978 so I'm connected to a lot of that history. But if they stay, that's fine too. I guess I'm fortunate that I have no real vested interest in their location. It's less to argue about.

I am with you in that it doesn't matter to me where they play as my home city will never be an option to house the team. I just enjoy an honest and friendly debate about the move. The only thing I've ever said is if the team is moved to the AFC West and our rivalries are thrown out the window that may force me to abandon the NFL in total. I'll go that much more of a college football fan.

If they didn't move I wouldn't be as disappointed as the southern california guys. I live in northern cali. I'm less than two hours to the new 49er stadium. But I would likely be able to attend a game or two if they move. I don't have the desire to travel all the way to st. louis to see a game. I went to a couple games at the old Candlestick park to watch them play the 49ers. Lost both times. Of course if they build the bullet train who knows? Its going run right through my town of Merced.

My biggest reason I to want them to move back is nostalgia. I fell in love with the LA Rams. They moved to st. louis and I was disappointed but they were still my team. And the GSOT soothed some of that disappointment. But the guys who had the team in their backyard, it had to be hard for them. Just like the St. Louis guys if they lose them. But the fans who leave the team if they move get no sympathy from me. Those weren't true fans to begin with, IMO. The true fans are the guys in southern cali who lost their team, yet still stuck with them.

Like most places ROD has it's good and bad qualities. They're huge with a lot of good people posting over there.

But the begging for money is distasteful and they over moderate for my taste. Not to mention it can be pretty arbitrary, you can say stuff to one poster that you can't say to X for example.

For a long time they wouldn't allow any talk of relocation. And then, not too long ago, you can talk about it but only in one thread. I actually took that as a sign the Rams are moving. They have some kind of relationship with Kevin Demoff over there and it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't talk about relocation because the Rams organization would prefer they didn't. But now they are talking about it. Speculation on my part for sure, but maybe Kevin gave them the go ahead because the Rams are, in fact, going to move...

I don't know if you're aware of this or not, but I don't own that board anymore, Elvis. Soid it over a year ago and it was sold again after that. So people can say whatever they want to me. I don't know that I say much of anything that incites anger anyway, because I mostly stay out of the relocation talk other than to post some relevant information from time to time. I just don't have any horse in that race being parked in the Carolinas.

Kevin hasn't given anyone any marching orders either. I speak to him via Twitter and via email and he's made no such demands. nor has he given me any indication of what they're going to do. That would be a HUGE blunder on his part, don't you think? And they consolidated all of the relocation talk at ROD to one thread because there was an overwhelming desire to talk about it, and the trade-off was to keep it in one place so as to not litter the front page with multiple threads all containing nothing but speculation and posturing. Seems fair enough. I don't really keep track of that thread either for the reasons cited above.

Since I have your attention, props to you for putting together quite a site over there. Your member list is quite impressive and love the technology. 1st class.
Speaking of your members, in looking at the ROD map I noticed very few left coast members in relation to the member total (as is the case with RRF). I bring this up to illustrate the point that we LA fans are in a minority on most Rams sites.
This site was geared towards the LA base with open arms to any StL Rams fan who will hold allegiance to the team if /after they relocate,, or if they don't.

That ROD relocation thread (which I still read everyday), has become polarizing and divisive to the fans as have the same type threads on all the Rams boards.. You can feel the frustration. It's no wonder since as it's hard to differentiate between city loyalties and team loyalties when the discussion is about moving to a different city. Ripping the heart out of your fandom and sense of loyalty makes for a tough emotional debate. Props to 503 for keeping it under control.

I'm not sure where you are located. In LA, fans here have been sucking it up for 20 years but had learned to accept what Georgia did. With ESK reopening the case, our wounds have been reopened too. Mostly by the visions of what once was,, possibly happening again is fueling our cautious optimism.
What ever the outcome, I'm with you in regard to getting all this over with. We are now a divided fan base but when it is decided where they will play, all the true Rams fans from LA, StL and everywhere else will filter back to the discussion about Rams football only. I will look forward to sharing those discussions with you when times are more settled.

Not only the bigger market, but going back to their old uniforms would increase the brand as well because it's all about the Horns. Plus comparing both potential venues and both have their advantages in their own right, but I give the edge to Inglewood just because there has never been a stadium like it.

Well said Hacksaw. Before all the talk about moving got real, most guys were just friends talking about the team they love. Talking about the game plan, who to draft, who to sign, etc. Good times. We even moved some talk over to general discussion and had some good times. Bome and silver rose were a fun couple. I know we might lose some familiar avatars if they move, but I'm looking forward to when this is finally resolved and we can concentrate on the future of the team on the field. Wherever they play.

I like ROD, I've been a member since 2010. I'm banned as of right now, I think in a couple of weeks my ban will be lifted. I was banned Bc I posted a video of Gurely yelling LA Rams. That being said, no love lost.

The only issue I have regarding ROD is most ppl there don't comment on the relocation thread Bc they're scared of getting banned or something. We all know it's the no.1 MAJOR hot button topic and its what's on everyone's minds. Let not close our eyes and pretend it doesn't exist.

I was driving and I put my phone in my ear and I heard him say "LA Rams" I read the comments on IG/Twitter and the majority of people said the same. So I posted the video on ROD. I got home plugged my headphones in and either he said "LA man" or "LA Rams". My goodness I got banned for that? Can't a brother make a mistake? If it even was a mistake. Besides its not my fault. It's the official Rams IG accounts fault. They knew that video was going to cause a controversy. Gurely is the most popular player on the Rams now and him saying or shouting LA anything is news. I'm sure Kevin Demoff knows that. Nothing's a coincidence.

The main focus on ROD right now is to keep the guys attached, whether the Rams move or not. I understand it's business.

IMO, I'm pulling for the neons with pales as throwbacks. The current colors just don't pop and the tradition is lost.
Ive mentioned many times that the current uniform with a color change back to the neons would be an interesting combo.
Kind of a hybrid but they need to put the horn or at least the stripe back in the shoulder and the pants back to the gold too. Where's CGI with a photo-shop when we need him.

We've only seen a handful of pics Den. Wait till we see more. I can't wait to see how the digital projection billboard on the roof will look like. It's the most expensive stadium ever built by man. It's going to be amazing.
